Position Description

The HRIS Specialist will support the maintenance and development of Zayo’s HR Information System, Workday. This includes configuration and regular maintenance of the Workday solution to fit Zayo’s needs. The HRIS Specialist will help develop and execute plans for interfaces, data conversions, and reporting/testing, as well as identify, analyze, and resolve client issues. The role is also responsible for conducting the day-to-day activities in systems deployment efforts.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 & 2 support for Workday users.
• Assist with Workday implementations and support of deployed modules.
• Create, test, and deploy custom reporting for supported teams.
• Assist teams with data transformation for loading.
• Support production roll-outs.
• Providing ongoing production support.
• Serve as peer reviewer with Workday Administrator for all SOX related items.
• Conduct research and gather business requirements to be utilized in the analysis and development of proposed solutions.
• Stay abreast of Workday issues, trends and capabilities by reading internal resources (reports, papers) and external resources (internet, external papers, reports).
• Customize pre-existing tools used to obtain and document information/data required.
• Provide input into establishing a project plan (identify tasks to be completed and estimate timeframes).
• Monitor progress against deadlines and responsibilities established on the project plan.
• Identify, escalate, and resolve issues or risks to the project.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, Information Technology, or related field preferred

Base salary range: $58,100 - $85,100 commensurate with experience.
