HSEQ Intern

Classification: Temporary Full-Time Non-Exempt

Internship Duration: June 5, 2023 – August 11, 2023

Job Summary: The ISN RAVS Internship program gives college students an opportunity to apply their skills in a dynamic work environment while developing well-rounded competencies in ISN’s products and services. Candidates will have the opportunity to work with other industry health and safety professionals to facilitate desktop reviews/audits of health and safety programs, coordinate process improvement initiatives, provide safety related technical support to clients and participate in various research activities. The position requires that one be a self-starter; possess basic occupational health and safety knowledge and willing to assist with all of the day-to-day demands inherent to a rapidly growing organization.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Specific duties and responsibilities include:

• Research, develop and enhance health and safety protocols for state/provinces/countries in accordance to company growth
• Proactively service and support ISNetworld contractor/supplier clients
• Participate in the implementation of sales and marketing projects
• Proactively analyze and bring forth ideas for continuous improvement
• Research and develop various resources and reference documents for clients

Requirements

Education and Training

• Currently studying occupational health and safety or equivalent from an accredited university

Knowledge and Skills

• Proficient computer skills in programs including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet and e-mail applications
• Demonstrated personal initiative
• Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment

Interview Dates: first round interviews will be held on campus. If successful after first round, candidates will be invited to final round interviews in Dallas, TX on October 19 & 20, 2022.

This position will requires employees to be within a commutable distance to our Dallas office and have a willingness to come into the office in person.

All internship offers will be contingent on successful completion of a drug screen and background check.
