HSEQ Senior Coordinator

Job Summary
The HSEQ Senior Coordinator works on the HSEQ Review and Verification Services team to provide safety related technical support to clients, facilitate desktop audits of health and safety programs, coordinate process improvement initiatives, review and provide support to contractors regarding their company HSEQ processes, and participate in various research activities. It requires that one possess familiarity with HSEQ-related legislation and standards, be self-motivated, and willing to assist with the day-to-day demands inherent to a rapidly growing organization.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Research, develop, and enhance health and safety review protocols as necessitated by legislated requirements
- Assist and support ISNetworld contractor/supplier clients; meet clients at their locations as needed
- Review contractor HSEQ documentation and processes, and communicate compliance/gaps in regard to regulatory requirements
- Perform desktop audits of health and safety programs and/or other HSE documentation
- Coordinate various review protocol development and implementation initiatives
- Research, develop and author various resources, reference documents and marketing material for customers and prospects
- Participate in industry monitoring, HSE professional organizations and other opportunities to continue personal and professional growth
- Continually re-evaluate HSEQ offerings and processes to provide superior service to customers
- Mentor new team members
Education and Training
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety or related field from an accredited university and/or equivalent work experience
- ASP certification or equivalent preferred or industry equivalentÂ
Knowledge and Skills
- 2+ years HSE or applicable site level practical experience
- Contractor/supplier or reviewer management a plus
- Proven skills or education in auditing HSE systems a plus
- Understanding of OSHA standards, EPA regulations, related state statutes/regulations or local ordinances and ISO/Management System standards
- Ability to interpret and effectively communicate technical documents and legislative references
- Solid analytical and problem-solving ability
- Desire to assume increasing levels of leadership responsibility
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
