Purpose: The Hub Manager is to be responsible for the day-to-day safe and efficient operation of the Hub Facility. This position also provides guidance and management to the warehouse supervisors and material handlers along with any office staff.  The Hub Manager reports directly to the Director of Hub Operations.

Essential Duties:

  • Overall responsibility for all Hub operating activities, including personnel, environmental, safety and production.
  • Responsible for working safely in all job aspects and functions of the Hub.
  • Accurately record and produce all production, personnel, and safety reports as required.
  • Provides daily/weekly/monthly updates to senior management on Facility activity via pre-established KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
  • Maintains Facility compliance with applicable Federal, State, and local environmental/regulatory requirements.
  • Work with branch personnel to ensure on-time delivery of necessary sales and service supplies.
  • Maintains accurate records of Facility activity and inventory of solvent, allied products and equipment.
  • Delivers training and counseling to employees to promote personal and employment growth.
  • Assists in various job capacities to support efficient Facility operations, when necessary.
  • Adhere to all corporate policies and standards including but not limited to environmental and regulatory, human resources, facility, equipment, operations and maintenance.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Work Experience

  • 5+ years in distribution/warehouse/hub management or relevant operations experience preferred
  • 3+ years of DOT and RCRA Transportation/Management experience a plus
  • Previous supervisory or management experience preferred

 Education, Certificates, Licenses, Designations or Memberships

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • All applicants must pass the following pre-employment requirements:

  • Background check in accordance with local laws and regulations

Work Environment: While performing essential duties of this position an individual regularly works indoors and may be required to sit for long periods. Individual will be required to regularly talk, hear, see and often reach with hands, stand, walk, use a computer keyboard, mouse, telephone, and other office equipment.
