Hub Operations Manager, APAC

Mission statement:

The Hub Operations Manager within Grid Automation business unit is accountable of the Hub and its Operating Units operate in strict adherence to the policies and instructions and required standards related to Health and Safety, Sustainability, Integrity, Governance, Project Execution, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Operational Excellence, Value Chain Planning, PMO and Project Controls.

Your responsibilities:

• You will set up and lead the Asia Pacific Hub operation function as per company and business unit project operations guidance, implementing the subordinate organization structure in the Hub in coordination with the Operating Units and BU operational requirements.
• You will supervise project execution and performance management in the Hub in close partnership with the Operating Unit Managers, through regular project reviews, project portfolio reviews and controls in line with the company and BU Instruction to ensure contract fulfilment in terms of quality, timeliness, and cost.
• You will ensure in the Hub that the portfolio of projects, products, services and software is managed consistently, based on best practices and company Policies, ensure that projects are formally closed out, as contractually agreed and ensure that all projects consistently apply contract and claims management, in accordance with company policies and contractual agreements to maximize customer satisfaction and company benefit Hub Operation take an active role in resolving escalated issues related to projects or general execution issues.
• You will build and maintain relationships with key customers as well as internal and external stakeholders, serve as an escalation point for individual and systemic issues within the region, mainly but not limited to project management.
• You will coordinate the development and implementation of the standards, practices, procedures, and tools in the region for all functions under project operations in order to achieve operational excellence and enable adherence to the standard and process through regular reviews, assessments and follow-up.
• You will collaborate with BU and division functions to ensure that operational improvement programs for execution excellence especially in project & contract management, supply chain and HSE for projects to be delivered on time, within budget and with high quality and safety.

• You hold bachelor's or master's degree in engineering.
• 10 to 15 years of experience in the utility and/or industrial infrastructure project business managing large and complex EPC type projects, both contractual, financial as well as technical.
• Good experience in dealing with international customers and suppliers on complex contracts will be preferred.
• Customer focused, problem solution orientation, open minded, resolute, team oriented and leadership.
• Good negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in English communication.
