Human Capital Analyst I
Job Description
AvantGarde, LLC (AG) seeks to engage a Human Capital Analyst I to support consultants in the design, implementation, and evaluation of a wide array of strategic human capital programs and processes by conducting basic research, organizing non-complex sets of data, and shadowing data analysis and interpretation; assisting in the creation and review of documentation; and attend internal team and client meetings; and recording meeting, interview, and focus groups notes.
The WORK
The Analyst will support US Department of Education Leadership Training (DoEd) and US Department of Agriculture Contract Officer Representative (COR) Support (USDA-FPAC). The DoEd Leadership Development program by assisting the lead trainer/facilitator to develop and deliver leadership courses to over 600 leaders, managers, and supervisors. In addition, the Analyst will provide training logistics support to ensure complete planning, delivery and accurate reporting of all training courses and feedback and will support USDA FPAC contracting officer representatives (COR) with acquisition support. The Analyst is part of a team that collaboratively supports with the government COR from pre-solicitation to post-award activities; the also serves on a team providing COR support including gathering data calls and reports, maintaining dashboards and managing and updating databases.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Research and provide expertise to ensure compliance with accessibility and section 508 requirements, including developing alternative text for the course curriculum.
- Serve as point of contact for students on course registration matters, including planning and distribution of course materials and communications to registered students.
- Serve as the "virtual producer" for training sessions, provide assistance to facilitator as needed.
- Assist in the compilation, analysis and reporting of evaluation feedback.
- Assist in developing report and presentation templates, reports, documents, communications, presentation materials, and content with guidance from the team; incorporate team and client feedback.
- Assist with research, analysis, and support acquisition management activities for the government.
- Provide assistance in training new government and contractor users on a wide range of topics.
- Assist with coordination of data calls and audits working with multiple stakeholders.
- Update financial databases and financial reports.
- Maintain project files, update pages and repositories in SharePoint.
- Operate a PC in a home office environment in a primarily sedentary position.
- Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance if required by the client.
Skills & Requirements
The REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree and 6+ months of experience in human resources, industrial/organizational psychology, organizational development, business, or government administration.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Flexibility to support multiple projects concurrently within tight deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical, customer service, and written and verbal skills.
- Proficiency using the Microsoft Office suite of applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint.
- Proficiency using databases, dashboards and reports in MS Excel is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate and build rapport with colleagues and clients.
- Excellent writing, analytical, work prioritization and organization skills.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
