POSITION OVERVIEW
The Compensation team is an integral part of the larger Human Capital team and plays a critical role in the design, implementation and administration of the Firm’s reward strategy. We partner across businesses and locations to develop and deliver appropriate and competitive compensation and benefit solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Key participant in the year-end compensation planning process: analysis, ongoing data management within the compensation system, and management reporting
- Ownership of compensation activity and headcount reporting as well as responsibility for continuous enhancement and improvements to processes
- Coordination of annual compensation benchmarking process, including competitive analyses
- Respond to ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests from within the HC team and across the firm, including Finance, DE&I, and LP due diligence data requests
- Partner with HRIS lead to identify opportunities to enhance and/or streamline current reporting capabilities
- Ongoing data audits of the firm’s HRIS and compensation systems to ensure accuracy and consistency of reporting

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to communicate with individuals across all levels in a clear, concise, and professional manner
- Ability to work with highly confidential information and maintain discretion
- Strong customer service orientation to clients across all levels of the organization
- Team player – willing to pitch in when needed on projects, tasks and initiatives; enjoys working in a collaborative and collegial environment; humble and enthusiastic with the desire to learn
- Proven ability to manage heavy workloads and prioritize time efficiently when faced with multiple projects
- Self-starter – “rolls up his/her sleeves and gets things done”; has high energy; a strong work ethic; ability to work independently, be creative, and entrepreneurial
- Ability to use critical thinking to troubleshoot and find solutions in ambiguous conditions
- Solid interpersonal and relationship-building skills – can develop trusted relationships with many constituents, build credibility quickly, and partner effectively with others
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
- 2-5 years of Compensation, Accounting, Finance, or related experience
- BA/BS or equivalent
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office, particularly advanced Excel
- Experience generating analytics based on large sets of nuanced and complex data
- Workday experience and knowledge of compensation systems a plus
