GENERAL FUNCTION:

This role provides basic operational support within Human Capital (HC) including but not limited to organizational management, recruiting & learning, relocation and employee onboarding as well as additional areas as strategy dictates. Partners with appropriate Human Capital customers to understand requirements and expectations on administrative and operational initiatives and executes deliverables in timely manner.

Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable consistently doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform a variety of administrative and operational functions/services to the Human Capital Organization. Supports all HC Centers of Excellence, leveraging resources to help meet business needs.
  • Provide support and resolution to requests received via HR Hub/WD Inbox and/or via email.
  • Make recommendations for improvements, and propose new approaches based on business need.
  • Provide support on various scheduling, coordination and material needs.
  • Collect, and provide periodic reporting of ongoing business tasks.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Work in a team-oriented setting, utilizing others skills and knowledge, sharing information, and supporting overall team success.
  • Demonstrate and execute usage of best business practices to continuously improve performance, compliance, efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Drive project tasks to completion in accordance with project schedules and agreed upon SLAs.
  • Escalate more complex requests or issues to effectively resolve for customers.
  • Perform under general supervision.
  • Perform other administrative duties as necessary.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITES REQUIRED:

  • Education and Experience: Minimum of High School degree or two years comparable human resource related work experience acceptable.
  • Intermediate skills in MS Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Drive and initiative to take on new and different projects and tasks.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, verbal and written, and able to prioritize tasks and follow up with individuals in a timely manner.
  • Proven success in providing proactive, timely, and accurate customer service.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple tasks at one time and maintain strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential business matters and information with discretion and maturity.
  • Ability to interact well with all organizational levels.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Normal office environment with little exposure to dust, noise, temperature and the like.
  • Extended viewing of computer screens.
  • Business travel may be required.
