Job SummaryÂ
The Research Assistant is responsible for supporting human factors staff during user studies conducted by Insight. This role requires a customer service and hospitality mindset, combined with exceptional organizational and people-skills. You will be interacting with, and supporting, a wide range of individuals including Insight staff, medical and pharmaceutical clients, patients, and healthcare providers.
Responsibilities and DutiesÂ
- Coordinate and schedule testing and participant recruiting activities (onsite and offsite)Â
- See to client and/or participant needs/hospitality during studies
- Assist with creating and collecting study documentation (informed consents)
- Manage study supply inventory
- Other duties as assignedÂ
Qualifications
Qualifications and SkillsÂ
- Bachelor’s or associate degree preferred
- Exceptional organizational skillsÂ
- Strong written and verbal communication skillsÂ
- Good people skills (interaction with participants, teammates, clients)
- Good understanding of A/V technology (digital recording equipment, webcams, laptops, microphones)
- Experience assisting with research involving human subjects (non-clinical) preferred
- Ability to collaborate and work with different teams
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Work, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat neededÂ
