What You'll Do
• Collects and compiles HRmetrics and data from a variety of sources including the human resourceinformation system (HRIS) and payroll outputs, management and employee surveys,exit interviews, employment records, government labor statistics, and othersources.
• Analyzes data andstatistics for trends and patterns with attention to recruitment, hiringpractices, motivation, turnover, and compliance with employment laws andregulations.
• Prepares reports of dataresults, presenting and explaining findings to senior leadership.
• Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests andquestions.
• Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.
• Submits online investigation requests and assists with new-employeebackground checks.
• Conducts audits of payroll, benefits or other HR programs and recommendscorrective action.
• Assists with processing of terminations.
• Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by the director of HR.
• Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
• Processes mail and assists with office administration
• Performs otherrelated duties as assigned.
Minimum education qualification
• Excellent verbaland written communication skills.
• Excellentinterpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizationalskills and attention to detail.
• Workingunderstanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures.
• Excellent timemanagement skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability tofunction well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
• Proficient withMicrosoft Office Suite or related software, with an intermediate level of Excel proficiency
