Reporting to a Senior HRBP and/or the Director of HR, the HR Business Partner will play a key role in delivering on the people and organizational strategy by working as a consultative and trusted advisor within your designated business areas (BAs).
Successful HRBPs will collaborate with the HR team to progressively align human resources strategy and service to accelerate achievement of business objectives, partnering significantly with leadership to retain and grow their talent by:

Estimated Starting Salary Range $95,298 - $131,034
Sierra Space offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Execute business/systems transactional work efficiently while building relationships with front-line leaders to support their development and coaching of their teams. Act as an influential partner in driving culture transformation and change management within leaders and individual contributors alike.
- Ensure regional HR legal compliance for different requirements including federal labor law, Affirmative Action Planning (AAP), Global Data Privacy Regulations (GDPR), Equality Employment Opportunity (EEO), etc.
- In partnership with Sr. Manager of Employee Relations, coach and provide guidance on employee relations for a wide range of issues. May include conducting investigations in response to issues and recommend/implement course of action based on investigation results.
- Partner with the HR COEs, to expand impact of our people strategy and ensure smooth deliver and healthy adoption of targeted solutions in engagement, performance calibration, learning & development, total rewards/recognition, etc.
- Achieve a deep understanding of the business strategy, goals and objectives and support organizational changes by developing and implementing appropriate change management plans.
- In partnership with the HR Director, support HR strategy and execution across the designated BAs. Ensure alignment between business imperatives and the HR agenda. Partner with senior leaders to determine effective HR solutions to facilitate organizational growth and effectiveness.
- Optimize BA team effectiveness and employee engagement, leveraging both quantitative and qualitative inputs; act as strategic advisor on all aspects of people and leadership including development/growth plans, change management, team effectiveness, employee engagement, and organization design.
- Collaborate on departmental Key Performance Indicator (KPI) tracking and reporting.
Must-haves:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
- 5+ years of progressive experience in HR required. This could include experience in HR Centers of Excellence (i.e., Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Compensation, Employee Relations, etc.).
- 2+ years of experience in prior HR Business Partner roles.
- Developing business acumen and ideally an ability to understand P&L.
- Successful track record of managing multiple projects within a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment, as well as demonstrated achievements in coaching, influencing and problem solving.
- Unwavering integrity, strong judgment and experience coaching senior leaders.
- Effective Communication/Facilitation, both written and verbal; work with managers to send clear and consistent messages; be an effective communicator in writing, facilitation, be able to drive change, facilitate internal communication processes, etc.
- Experience with Workday HR management systems and Navex, preferred.
