As a HR Intern, you will work closely with the HR team and have daily projects to work on and grow your HR skills. No 2 days will be the same throughout the summer for you, as you will receive first hand experience of working within a growing HR team.

- Partner with the HR team on various projects
- Partner with the Talent Acquisition team on various projects
- Opportunity to learn the Logistics/Transportation industry
- Research and assist with requests related to HR projects
- Projects may include assisting with HR projects, benefits, helping revamp the onboarding program, updating and revising job descriptions, etc.
- Opportunity to shadow individuals within different departments
- Give a presentation to all leadership detailing experiences and goals met during internship, and a project
- Be willing to complete additional tasks that arise within the HR team
Requirements:
- Must be able to start June 3, 2024 (internship goes through August 9, 2024)
- Will be a Senior in fall 2024
- Able to work 3 days a week at our Chicago office (600 Chicago Ave), and 2 days hybrid
- Interested in a career within HR
- Enjoy working with others
- Driven and competitive nature
- Strong problem solving and decision making abilities
- Quick learner who is successful at multi-tasking
- Team player who can also produce independent results
- Rising Senior preferred
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain strict confidentially
