This position is Remote, but employee must live in one of the locations below. This position/employee is responsible for regional coverage of the below regions:
- Arizona, California, Nevada & Hawaii and the territories of Guam, American Samoa, & Saipan
Broadleaf Inc is seeking a talented, enthusiastic, and dynamic Human Resources Specialist/Recruiting Specialist to provide management and oversight in support of program with the Social Security Administration. The Human Resources Specialist must possess excellent organizational, communications, and project management skills with experience working with large teams in a very dynamic, challenging results driven environment.
JOB DUTIES:
- Perform tasks in any area of HR, including file/records, staffing, and recruitment.
- Conduct complex analyses of organization and mange HR projects and initiatives.
- Advise managers and supervisors of procedures and requirements.
- Write clear, informative streamlined job opportunity announcements.
- Process all applications received through automated system.
- Verify minimum qualification requirements for all candidates referred for consideration.
- Issue competitive, merit promotion, expected service, and/or non-competitive certificates/referral lists electronically
- Respond to inquiries from agency stakeholders regarding staffing actions
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Two (2) years of Federal Human Resources experience
- Knowledge of federal HR operations, procedures, and requirements
- Experience in file/records, staffing, and recruitment
- Experience in advancing/implementing business objectives, strategic goals, and human resource programs/initiatives for Federal organizations
- Operational experience supporting with HR leadership, customers, and other HR staff members
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Must have experience in briefing internal and external senior leadership
- Possess excellent writing ability and communication skills
- Experience in Federal, Military or SETA Human Resource and Recruiting
CERTIFICATION:
- DEU Certification required
CLEARANCE LEVEL:
- Clearance Level: SSA Suitability Check
EDUCATION:
- Associates degree or higher (preferred) and two (2) years of Federal Human Resources experience
- OR seven (7) years of Federal Human Resources experience with 1 of the years supporting federal recruiting.
