Position Summary
ITS is seeking an HR Administrator to provide support to our new Brokerage office in downtown Fort Worth, TX. This role provides a unique and exciting opportunity to work in a startup environment while being backed by a well-established, $1 billion growth company.
About the Position
- Lead and fully execute key initiatives that support ITS Logistics' strategy and core values.
- Responsible for all onboarding tasks. Including:
- Background Checks
- Drug Screens
- Employment verifications
- I-9 processing
- New hire Personnel Action Forms
- Data entry
- Assists in the full cycle recruiting process as needed.
- Manages level one and two employee relations grievances with support from leadership as needed. Assists in intake and investigation process and works closely with corporate HR on level three and above claims.
- Guides leaders and team members regarding Company policies and procedures.
- Assists with team member disciplinary meetings and terminations.
- Assists in the FMLA and leave processes. Responsible for employee follow-up and managing return dates. Proactively communicates updates to leadership.
- Ensure activities follow all state and federal employment laws and regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA, EEO and FLSA).
- Responsible for reception duties such as phone calls, visitor check-ins, onsite interviews, identification badges, parking, etc.
- Provides HR reporting as needed.
- Assists in benefit enrollment for new hires and annual enrollment.
- Provides general HR assistance to local team members.
- Collaborates with leadership to create and execute culture and engagement programs.
Position Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in Human Resources preferred.
- PHR/SPHR preferred.

- Understanding of Human Resource Management (staffing; employee relations; performance management; leadership development; training).
- Ability to work in a faced paced, fluid environment, jumping in wherever needed to support success of the team.
- Courage to make tough decisions and deliver difficult messages with professionalism and poise.
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills and can present their point of view in varied business situations.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects in a high-performance environment with overlapping tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be a confident communicator, able to effectively present to all levels of the organization.
