Requirements

The Human Resources Assistant plays a critical role in supporting the Human Resources function at Spring Fertility. They assist in overall administrative duties and projects to ensure the department is organized, efficient, and running smoothly.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Assists in the onboarding process of new hires which may include partnering with other departments for proper set-up, processing pre-employment paperwork, data entry, document management, and escalating sensitive issues
• Coordinates and communicates employee birthday, recognition, and celebratory events; orders corresponding employee swag and gifts
• Collects, tracks and audits employee certifications, licenses, and immunizations; Maintains, monitors and reports expiring certifications, licenses and immunizations to employees and their managers
• Assists with auditing completion of employee training as assigned
• Maintains paperless employee files
• Assists HR team in creation and maintenance of department materials such as forms, policies/procedures, guides, announcements, and campaigns
• Responds to applicant calls and assists with employee requests; ensures employees have user-friendly access to proper HR resources, systems, and policies
• Compiles reports from the HRIS/Payroll systems and assists with audits
• Assists in the reconciliation and processing of department expense reports
• Assists with HR projects and initiatives as assigned
• Performs other duties as assigned
