Job Description
Summary
Position is located at the Nonappropriated Fund (NAF) Personnel Records Center, Rock Island, Illinois.
This position is a local remote position. The official worksite for a local remote worker is the supervisor approved alternate worksite that falls within the local commuting area and conforms to any current required regulations.

- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position
- A one year probationary period may be required
- Occasional travel for training purposes to off post locations is required
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check
- Must complete CHRA NAF Career Path I within 18 months of position placement
Qualifications
Possess six (6) months of progressively responsible clerical/administrative experience, which demonstrates the ability to accomplish various human resources tasks and utilize human resource information systems.

Highly Preferred: In addition to above minimum qualification requirements, applicants will possess prior work experience in Human Resources
NF-03
1. Possess six (6) months of work experience inputting data into a personnel data base.
2. Prior records management experience such as transmitting (filing, uploading, transfers) and maintenance of records.
3. Possess prior experience using Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
4. Ability to work with a variety of human resources information systems.

Highly Preferred: In addition to above minimum qualification requirements, applicants will possess prior work experience in a NAF Human Resources Office and possess prior work experience using a Data Entry System to code, review and generate notifications of personnel actions (i.e. DA Form 3434, AF Form 2545, SF-50, etc.)

This job does not have an education qualification requirement.
Additional information
This position is developmental, incumbent may be non-competitively promoted to the target grade no earlier than 6 months of satisfactory performance, completion of required training, met all regulatory and qualification requirements and performing the full scope of the major duties under the proper level of supervision.
