Human Resources Associate
Job Description
The Human Resources Associate will provide administrative support for various programs and functions including benefits, onboarding, recruiting, professional development, performance management, employee communications, employee engagement, and HR compliance. This position reports to the Senior HR Generalist and works closely with the Senior Recruiter and Chief People Officer. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Lead the onboarding process and help organize training and development initiatives for full time employees and internship programs
- Conduct background screens and employment verifications
- Assist with the administration of employee benefit programs
- Support recruiting processes
- Promote HR programs to create a positive and productive work environment
- Own and maintain HR information on the intranet and internal shared drives and ensure all content is up-to-date and accurate as processes change and improve
- Maintain the accuracy and completeness of electronic and physical employee records in HR systems
- Support the administration of our annual performance review process
- Collaborate on new ideas for employee engagement programs and enhancement of current and ongoing engagement activities
- Assist with HR reporting
- Process invoices and provide support with expenses
- Independently manage and partner with various team members on ad hoc projects as needed
Requirements
Desired Background/Education for this role include:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, psychology, business, or related field
- 3+ years of human resources or related experience, preferably in a professional services setting
- Exposure to benefits administration, HR compliance and HRIS systems preferred
