Position Summary

Human Resources Associates have the opportunity to work with a variety of nonprofit clients, collaborating with other team members to ensure that recruitment and hiring goals are met and exceeded. Associates responsibilities include research, reporting, coordination and administration related to our talent services. This position can be based out of our Washington, DC or New York, New York office.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to client teams, including management of all administrative responsibilities
  • Post job openings to online job boards
  • Review resumes and identify qualified applicants
  • Research prospective candidates
  • Conduct initial phone screens and coordinate follow-up interview with hiring managers
  • Prepare materials such as agendas, dashboards, and reports for external presentation
  • Regularly participate in meetings with hiring managers and other client leadership

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years’ experience in recruitment, hiring, or human resources
  • Understanding of or interest in learning nonprofit organizational structures
  • Self-starter who is comfortable handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to manage competing priorities and projects
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and creative problem-solving skills  
  • Outstanding organizational and time management abilities
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Research and computing skills
  • Ability to work on teams in a collaborative and supportive manner
  • Experience with ATS or HRIS a plus

Additional Information

Base salary of $55,000 + $5,000 bonus potential annually
