Job Summary
The Human Resources Business Partner will be responsible for, off-boarding, employee relations, performance management, and employee experience in the Austin, Texas office. Projects may be assigned as they arise.
Duties and Responsibilities
This position offers a salary range of $81,800.00 to $91,800.00 (inclusive of variable compensation such as bonuses and incentives). In addition, more information about Imprivata's benefit offerings can be found here . This salary range represents the high and low end of Imprivata's salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, such as a candidate's location, skills, experience, and qualifications.

We are seeking a Human Resources Business Partn er to join our team.
Job Summary
The Human Resources Business Partner will be responsible for, off-boarding, employee relations, performance management, and employee experience in the Austin, Texas office. Projects may be assigned as they arise.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Drive and help implement improvements to employee performance, mentorship, and recognition programs
- Work closely with other HR team members to continually enhance employee communications, training, recruiting, and other initiatives.
- Partner with Director of HR and peer HR Business Partner to help lead and support Imprivata's performance management efforts and assist in annual merit process for assigned departments across the organization.
- Partner with management globally from a virtual aspect to also support employees locally as needed
- Provide coaching and general employee relations services support to employees in assigned departments to support growth & development and to address and resolve workplace matters
- Participate in the development of various orientation and training programs
- Participate and assist in global HR initiatives and projects
- Conduct complex investigations involving highly sensitive matters including harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and other work-related matters to document findings and make recommendations on appropriate actions
- Work with our internal and external legal counsel, manage all HR legal affairs local to the Austin office as needed and for assigned departments (employee relations, separation agreements, relocations, etc.)
- Manage exit process for employees in assigned departments
- Serve as the main point of contact for all HR requests from employees in assigned departments and in Austin, Texas office
- Support the HR Ops Team in implementing programs to help improve the employee experience
- Assist in company acquisitions/mergers
- Mentor managers on employee development best practices
- Advise leadership on hiring and terminations
- Conduct investigations in response to employee complaints
- Partner with leadership to develop succession plans
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned
- Required travel as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related discipline.
- 5+ years of HR experience
- Experience managing employee relations topics and issues
- Experience working closely with upper management and management teams in coaching and working through complex situations
- Experience supporting a growing organization and supporting all levels of management a must.
- Individual must have proven experience in developing and managing a staff of 2 - 10 people.
- Must be proficient with various computer applications, including Microsoft Office
- Experience with ADP/HRIS a must
- Must be self-motivated, flexible, energetic, ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment, and effectively communicate with peers and managers.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization
