A BAF Human Resources Business Partner is a high-touch, engagement-enhancing role, driving our people-focused actions to ensure that HR programs and initiatives are effective, efficient, and aligned with BAF's business objectives. The HRBP will specifically focus on our Operations and Engineering teams, enhancing team engagement, job satisfaction and overall talent development. Recruiting, employee relations and career architecture will be incorporated in the strategic and tactical responsibilities for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Recommend and implement engagement-enhancing initiatives.
  • Provide strategic and tactical HR support to Operations and Engineering departments to ensure the achievement of business growth initiatives.
  • Actively participate in developing DE&I initiatives
  • Develop, refine, and implement HR policies as warranted.
  • Recruit and hire positions to support business growth as needed.
  • Partner with the learning and development team to develop and conduct training.
  • Develop career paths and associated training programs in support of ongoing development initiatives.
  • Identify gaps in current training offerings and recommend solutions.
  • Advise managers on organizational policy matters.
  • Provide guidance on compensation and benefit matters in conjunction with the HR team.
  • Assist in leading reward and recognition program(s) for the business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in HR, business or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of HR generalist experience in a fast-paced, high-engagement environment
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Exceptional business acumen
  • Experience building HR programs that motivate and encourage high employee engagement
  • Experience building training and career path programs in an engaging environment
  • Excellent communication skills. Bi-lingual preferred (Spanish verbal and written)
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels across our business
  • Strong work ethic, flexibility, and a desire to actively contribute to the group's success
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong PC skills including HRIS and ATS (ADP + Jobvite preferred), Microsoft and Google Suite
