We are looking for a Human Resources Business Partner to join our team! The HR Business Partner (HRBP) position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver timely and value-added services to management and employees that reflect the mission, vision, and values of the organization and HR policies. In addition, the HRBP will own programs that run across the broader organization such as administering company-wide Employee Engagement programs, compensation benefits administration, and investigation of employee complaints. Will have a full understanding of state/Federal regulations regarding the Family Medical Leave Act and Washington Paid Family and Medical Leave administration, Workers' Compensation claims, Workplace Safety (OSHA) incidents, and Labor and Industry Employment best practices. The HRBP will also serve as a liaison between management, employees, and the HR team to ensure communication gaps are eliminated and embed Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) into the daily workflow. Plus, other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues.
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, FMLA and WPFML administration, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state-respective employment laws.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
