Job Description

As a Human Resources (HR) Business Partner, you will join a fast-paced, fun team within an ambitious and entrepreneurial global organization. You'll be responsible for providing front line support to employees while cultivating meaningful and business-focused partnerships with managers and leadership to drive effective HR practices.

Your role will include policy and program interpretation and implementation, employee relations and management coaching, recruitment support, performance management, compensation administration, HR metrics, employee engagement as well as on-boarding and off-boarding activities. You'll round out your days by contributing to global HR team activities, processes and initiatives. This key position reports to the Senior Director of Human Resources and works closely with the whole Human Resources team. As a Human Resources Business Partner, you'll be responsible for:

Employee Relations

  • Working with assigned managers on all personnel matters and providing actionable advice and coaching.
  • Assisting in the preparation of documentation in support of performance improvement plans, written warnings, terminations and related documentation.

Performance Management

  • Partnering with the Human Resources team on annual and midyear performance review processes (e.g., employee communication, trainings, Q&A, document preparation, peer review processes and tracking.)
  • Adjusting job descriptions as necessary.

Policy and Program Support:

  • Interpreting and implementing company policies to ensure consistent application
  • Recommending changes or new policies to maintain creative, industry standard approaches to corporate policies.

Talent Acquisition Collaboration

  • Creating/editing job requisitions and job descriptions in coordination with hiring teams and the Talent Acquisition leadership.
  • Supporting the recruitment process and provide coaching and guidance to ensure equitable candidate evaluations and quality hiring decision.
  • Partnering with Talent Acquisition team on job offer details, analyzing internal and external compensation data

Compensation Analysis

  • Work closely with the Human Resources leadership on the design and administration of company-wide compensation programs

Onboardings & Off-boardings

  • Welcoming new employees during the pre-hire processes and monitor progress throughout onboarding
  • Conducting new hire orientations and working with managers and hiring teams to ensure a positive and effective start to the Corcentric employment journey
  • Coordinating exit processes including exit surveys, exit interviews and all associated communications and documentation.

Training

  • Participating in the development and presentation of training programs (e.g. new manager training, performance review, benefits/open enrollment, professional skills development training, etc.)

Requirements

You'll need to have:

  • Hands-on experience as an HR Manager, Generalist, or Business Partner
  • Experience working within a fast-paced, growing company, actively creating and scaling Human Resource programs and processes
  • Knowledge of US labor law, compliance requirements and standard HR practices.
  • Experience supporting multi-site and remote/virtual teams
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, including the ability to create and deliver effective HR communications and trainings.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills with the ability to effectively manage conversations and issues, positively influence others' decision making, and maintain professional composure and focus across all types of interactions.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and good numbers sense, along with being well-organized with confidence effectively and independently prioritizing competing demands.
  • Agility with changes to priorities, directions, and tasks, to drive positive outcomes in an evolving organization
  • Demonstrated success working collaboratively in a team-driven environment
  • Advanced relationship building skills, with the ability to establish rapport and trust with external and internal clients, as well as work effectively with remote staff and service providers.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion and maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

It's great if you also have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant study
  • Human Resources certification and/or formal training
  • Knowledge of United Kingdom (UK) labor laws and employment practices
  • Compensation design and administration experience
  • HRIS experience
