Job Summary

Reporting to the Director of Human Resources and acting as a key member of the Human Resources team, the Human Resources Business Partner provides guidance and administers HR programs, policies, practices, and processes for the manufacturing and distribution channels. This role helps implement integrated HR initiatives and solutions to advance organizational objectives. The Human Resources Business Partner will have daily interactions with employees and Human Resources vendors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Align business objectives with employees and management in designated business units
  • Consult with business unit on human resources-related issues, providing HR guidance on Diversity, Training opportunities, Org structures and design, Team moral, Compliance & Policy
  • Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning
  • Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues and investigations
  • Collaborate with Recruiter on open requisitions and recruiting process
  • Support Leaders in developing the skill set needed to lead their teams effectively
  • Partner with the HR team to design how HR supports the business holistically

Qualifications

  • 8-10 years of experience in Human Resources
    • 3+ years supporting employee relations
    • 2+ years as an HRBP in a corporate setting 
    • 2+ years experience as an HRBP (or similar) in manufacturing/retail/hospitality
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including diversity, compensation practices, organizational design, employee relations, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws
  • Strong attention to detail coupled with analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Take home assignment - 30minutes -2 hours of work

  • Final Interview with Panel - 1 hour via Microsoft Teams (camera on)
