Education:            Bachelor’s Degree, Major in Administration, Human Resources Management or equivalent training

The ideal candidate must have strong understanding and working knowledge of Human Resources principles; with a minimum of 5-7 years of Human Resources Advisor/Business Partner experience.

The Opportunity: Reporting to the Senior Director, People Operations, you will be at the forefront of driving operational excellence in the People Operations department of BusPatrol. Using progressive tools and systems (ADP, Greenhouse, and SharePoint), you will champion HR process improvement, data integrity, employee and manager self-service, regulatory compliance documentation, and consistency in process and policy application.

What we need you to do:

  • Help build a consultative HR practice
  • Bring a project orientated and continuous improvement mindset to the role
  • Work with Team Leads and Supervisors on all HR employee concerns and escalations
  • Manage training initiatives and follow up with employees for receipts, number of hours, certificates
  • Work closely with the Finance department for transfer of all People related files for payroll processing (onboarding documents, change of status, salaries reviews, employment leaves, etc.)
  • Performs all other HR related tasks, as needed to meet team objectives

 What you bring:

  • 5-7 years of HRBP experience
  • An affinity for process improvement, automation and making work easier
  • A keen interest in technology and solving problems with technology
  • Diploma in Administration, Human Resources Management or equivalent training
  • Proficiency with systems and data management
  • Knowledge of and experience with HRIS systems
  • Strong command of the SharePoint and MS Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Positivity, enthusiasm, exceptional customer service skills and a thirst for learning
  • The ability to maintain the security and confidentiality of employee information
  • Resourcefulness: Ability to work autonomously and consistently producing accurate and timely work
  • Adaptability/Flexibility: Willing to jump in and assist the team and work collaboratively with teams and managers in a fast-paced environment
  • Communication: Excellent communication and effective listening skills, and the ability to convey information to others in a clear and concise way
  • Dependability: Ability to work well under pressure, to carry-out instructions and meet deadlines
  • Organization: Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to prioritize against objectives
