Reporting to the Head of Human Resources - Commercial, our Human Resource Business Partner Director will implement and administer a variety of human resource programs as advisor and strategic partner to Zayo's Product and Marketing organizations. Our HRBP Director is responsible for enhancing organizational effectiveness, anticipating and planning for the human capital needs for assigned clients and ensuring that management is equipped to deliver those plans in a compliant and consistent manner. Our HRBP Director coaches leaders on how to effectively balance the varying (and at times competing) needs of management and employees across the spectrum of the employee lifecycle.
*We're open to this position working in a hybrid capacity out of our Denver or Boulder, CO offices.
Responsibilities
  • Take an active part in the strategic decision making, business planning and streamlining team resources for achieving Zayo's intended goals and ambition.
  • Foster organizational adaptability.
  • Be a thought leader for creating a flexible post COVID work environment.
  • Guide the implementation and administration of various HR programs throughout an assigned line of business and through a staff of HR professionals.
  • Interpret various corporate HR programs, annual planning activities and ad-hoc projects and determine the best approach for engaging with and advising assigned business management for effective implementation.
  • Recommend solutions to improve employee productivity, retention and engagement throughout assigned business as well as to enhance manager effectiveness.
  • Understand the operational goals of the business and guide staff to create a coordinated human capital plan to enable those goals.
  • Deploy a broad range of experience in human capital activities: merit planning, career management, performance management, succession planning, supervisor coaching, and workforce planning. Participate as part of a multi-disciplinary HR team in constructing / designing such programs.
  • Recruit, direct, motivate and influence, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team. Set team priorities and is accountable for the achievement of team objectives.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10+ years of relevant work experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience supporting a global organization, preferably within the technology industry.
  • Proven organizational, human resource and team leadership experience.

Base pay range: $110,000 - $160,000, commensurate with experience
