Human Resources Coordinator

As a valued contributor, the HR Coordinator provides support to the Human Resources Manager, recruiting and other HR functions, and managers/supervisors in the business. In support of the business, the HRC processes employment and enrollment applications, updates and maintains employment records in HRIS, assist with payroll, compiles various reports/analytics using human resources information systems (HRIS) and Microsoft excel and respond to routine questions on related human resources processes. In addition, the HRC assist in the delivery of our HR policies and processes by executing on business specific projects and initiatives relating to people and programs. The focus of this role is on tactical and execution activities and this person is recognized as an HR resource.

Necessary qualification and experience:

• Excellent written, verbal, follow-up and organizational skills.
• Must have the knowledge, skills and temperament to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and manage multiple tasks and projects.
• Self-starter who takes initiative and follows through on tasks.
• Experience with data entry and/or maintenance of employee data in human resources systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
• Demonstrated advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, reporting and/or analytics.
• A minimum 6 months to 2 years of experience in a tactical Human Resources function, Project Management, Supply Chain or related discipline. Interns can apply to this requirement.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in HR Management, Organizational Psychology, Business or related discipline.
• Experience in production, trucking, warehouse or manufacturing environments is a plus.
• High-volume recruiting and on-boarding experience is a plus.
• Experience with background checks, drug screens, & DOT is a plus
• Must maintain a high standard of professional conduct, work ethic, and the highest level of confidentiality in all aspects of employee issues.

Work Conditions: Position may be eligible to work up to one (1) days remote per week.

Salary Range: $22-23 per hour commensurate with experience.
