Agility Recovery is seeking a highly skilled HR Coordinator to join our team at the Atlanta, GA (Perimeter area) office. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and administering various HR programs, policies, and procedures, recruitment coordination, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance. Additionally, this position will manage the day-to-day operations of the office such as overseeing administrative tasks, ensuring office supplies and equipment are stocked and functioning, coordinating with vendors, and managing facility maintenance. As a member of the HR team, the HR Coordinator will also take on additional responsibilities to support the HR function . The HR Coordinator will report directly to the Director of Human Resources and will work out of our Atlanta, GA office. This is a hybrid role.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the face of the organization by leading New Hire Orientation, championing employee engagement and retention, coordinating recognition, and event planning
  • Establish and maintain positive employee relationships and interactions
  • Coordinate performance management processes
  • Assist in maintaining and updating personnel records within the HRIS
  • Collects and retains I-9 documentation in compliance with federal law
  • Create a seamless on-boarding experience for all new-hires: facilitate new hire orientation, collect and process new hire paperwork, background checks, and coordinate new hire set-up
  • Benefits administration, including the coordination of the annual open enrollment process
  • Collaborate with payroll on all employment related activities, payroll reconciliation, and serve as payroll backup for vacation and time off
  • Overall federal, state, and local HR compliance including policies and insurance
  • Maintain and enter accurate HR records and data
  • Respond to employee inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain accurate HR records and data and be able to run reports and conduct basic analysis on data within HRIS system
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the office
  • Company event and travel coordination as needed
  • Ensure office supplies and equipment are stocked and functioning
  • Manage office maintenance including scheduling repairs and coordinating with building management. Coordinate with vendors for services such as janitorial and maintenance staff
  • Coordination of administrative duties in Atlanta, GA office
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in HR or related experience in HR field
  • 3+ years of experience in an HR Coordinator role
  • Working knowledge of human resources processes, compliance, and best practices
  • Experience in office management is a plus
  • Familiarity with HRIS Systems is a plus
  • Exposure to payroll practices
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Maintains a high degree of professionalism - can interface with all levels of the organization as a primary point of contact for the team
