Job Description

Position Overview:

Solid Power is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join our talented team working to revolutionize the battery industry through the development of next generation, all solid‐state rechargeable batteries. Solid Power is a dynamic, fast‐paced, collaborative team environment. This newly created position will work closely with the Human Resources Generalist.

Job Duties:

  • Create and maintain current and accurate Human Resource records and documentation.
  • Answer questions from employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refer complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
  • Maintain integrity and confidentiality of Human Resource files and records.
  • Provide recruiting support including ATS administrative functions and interview coordination.
  • Input and maintain employee information in HRIS.
  • Assist in drafting HR communications and surveys.
  • Assist staff with benefits enrollment and benefits questions.
  • Maintain compliance with Federal, State, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Produce and maintain electronic company documents, HRIS reports, and spreadsheets.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • High School Diploma (GED), associate degree and/or some college preferred.
  • Previous HR experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Office 365; Especially Excel.
  • Experience working with HRIS systems, UKG a plus.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Proven ability to handle and maintain confidential data.
  • This is not a remote position. Must be able to work onsite 5 days per week.

Salary Range: $24.00 - $32.00/hour
