The Human Resources Coordinator completes administrative duties for the human resources department of any type of organization. This role performs Human Resources functions such as processing new hires, processing terminations, employee file maintenance, exit interviews and business services.
Responsibilities:
- Processes new hires in the HRIS system; reviews new hire information upon upload into the system; enters any additional data for payroll purposes; ensures information is accurate and complete; completes onboarding activities in Oracle HCM (i.e., I-9 documentation verification).
- Processes terminations (termination paperwork, final paycheck, access IT tickets, HRIS data entry); ensures coordination between payroll, the hiring manager, and appropriate parties.
- System administration for Concur (Travel and Expense Reimbursements), processes expense reports for compliance to our expense policy and ensures they feed into Yardi for reimbursement.
- Partners with Payroll to ensure that pay for associates is accurate and correct. Conducts weekly and monthly audits of the new hires, status changes and termination processed in Oracle HCM.
- Maintains the employee filing systems; ensures all electronic files are complete; ensures all files are current in accordance with legal requirements.
- Sends out exit survey requests to resigning employees; schedules exit survey meetings with terminating employees both in person and via telephone; tracks completion rates via the term worksheet.
Requirements:
- Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in human resources or related experience required.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) required.
- Working knowledge of Oracle HCM Application preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, problem-solving, planning and analysis skills.
- Strong relationship management, organizing and customer service skills.
- Must be able to meet multiple deadlines.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
- Must be able to implement process improvement changes.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- Must be able to pay close attention to details.
- Must be able to adapt and flex to a changing environment.
- Must be able to operate a motor vehicle.
- Must be able to lift 20 pounds.
