Job Description

Job Summary:

The Human Resources Coordinator will support the day-to-day activities of the Human Resources department while working closely with all members of the HR team. Provides support to the Human Resources team in coordinating routine recruiting and training functions, and partners with Human Resource management on projects in other areas of Human Resources as needed.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Posts open positions via the internet - this includes managing and conducting regular audits of the organization's Indeed account
  • Assists with the coordination and scheduling of interviews with hiring managers, booking candidate travel when necessary
  • Initiates pre-employment processes and coordinate new hire process with candidate and hiring manager.
  • Assists with new hire onboarding
  • Manages I-9 process - verifications, data entry, and filing
  • Coordinates calendars to schedule training and development activities and performance management meetings.
  • Manages and executes Employee Service Award Program
  • Assists in maintaining applicant tracking system.
  • Communicates HR policy and programs at a basic level with assistance from HR team.
  • Manages relationship with relocation vendor and process all relocation for internal and external moves.
  • Coordinates company-offered training courses including but not limited to scheduling, organizing and creating materials.
  • Audits and organizes HR and personnel files
  • Assists with administration of performance management system and process.
  • Processes all department invoices for payment and personnel job changes
  • Responsible for general duties such as phone coverage and ad hoc project work across HR department.
  • Demonstrates regular attendance and timeliness in reporting to work, meetings and completing assignments.

Other Job Functions:

  • Other projects and duties as assigned by Human Resources management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business degree with an emphasis in Human Resources preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Intermediate Microsoft skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Self-motivated with keen attention to detail, high degree of accuracy and sense of urgency.

Special Demands:

  • Onsite, indoor work environment
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 90% of the time
  • Position requires operation of a computer and other standard office equipment, such as a copy machine, calculator, computer printer, phone up to 90% of the time
  • Frequently communicates with employees in the office and at remote locations
