Human Resources Coordinator
Job Description
The HR Coordinator will support a variety of human resources functions, and the HR Business Partners, with an emphasis on onboarding. The HR coordinator will also perform administrative tasks and services to support the efficiency of the HR department. Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational skills, and great attention to detail will be keys to success in this role at this growing organization.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Employee Onboarding (POC for onboarding employees, processes new hire paperwork, coordinates and presents New Employee Orientation, ensures agenda is up to date and collaborates with managers and presenters if changes are needed, ensures new hires are in HRIS, manages I9 process)
- Maintains electronic HR files and monitors HR inbox
- Completes Clearance Background Investigations and verifications of employment
- Supports offboarding process
- Manages/distributes incoming mail to HR
- Provides reports and employee information to other areas of the organization, as requested
- Coordinates wellness activities
- Tracks interns/co-ops (including onboarding and offboarding activity)
- Processes anniversary awards/gifts
- Adds/Removes users from HR-related systems
- Prepare letters/memos as needed

- Self-motivated; committed to high standards and excellent service
Minimum Requirements:
- HR Diploma or GED
- 1+ year experience in HR, Customer Service or related field
- General knowledge of HR practices
Nice to Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or HR-related field
- Experience using Paycom or other HRIS
- Experience using Google applications in the workplace (Gmail, docs, sheets, slides, forms)
