Your Part in It:
The Human Resources Director initiates and leads HR practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high-energy culture that emphasizes empowerment, productivity, and ongoing development of a superior workforce.
You will be reporting to the President of Traffic Tech and the position is located in the Chicago office.
HUMAN RESOURCES DIRECTOR
Tasks & Responsibilities
:

  • Provides vision, leadership, planning, project coordination and management for the department while concurrently facilitating efficient operations to meet current and future business needs within the organization.
  • Ensures continuity and successful delivery of functional services to users throughout the organization.
  • Provides overall prioritization of work assignments and management of functional team resources and their activities.
  • Promotes proactive approaches using the company's HRIS to solve business needs/problems, while also enhancing the understanding and acceptance of the HRIS capabilities.
  • Builds and maintains a strong functional team through effective recruiting, training, coaching, team building and succession planning.
  • Establishes procedures to ensure all employees and managers are assisted appropriately and in a timely manner.
  • Positively communicating and demonstrating the company's core valuesby developing trust and respect among peers and associates, building strong teams and partnerships, and driving results.
  • Providing guidance and input regarding HR strategies that support the vision, culture, and business needs of the organization
  • Supporting the business teams in establishing and executing an effective talent strategy and working in partnership with Talent Acquisition Teams.
  • Administrating and providing coaching to business leaders in managing engagement surveys results and developing meaningful and effective account plans to improve engagement results
  • Leveraging Data analysis to proactively identify issues within the business and develop plans to address and minimize disruption

Qualifications & Experience:
  • A minimum of 10 years of human resources with two years' supervisory experience.
  • A bachelor's degree in business administration or human resources, or equivalent experience preferred. A master's degree will be considered an asset.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced and at times stressful environment.

This is a full-time permanent position from Monday to Friday.
