HR Director - GISC

The Human Resources Director will support the functional teams for Allegion's Global Integrated Supply Chain organization. As a Human Resources Director, your role is to deliver people-related strategies that enable Allegion to secure people and assets where they reside, work and thrive. That means you'll partner closely with leaders to drive business outcomes such as employer brand strength, talent capabilities, service excellence and business performance.

This is an exciting role that will be a part of the GISC HR team. You will be in a position to solve complex issues strategically and collectively as a team. You will become part of an already dynamic team that is a part of a growing, forward thinking organization!

Key Competencies:

You will flex your business acumen abilities and have a clear, comprehensive understanding of business strategy and positioning of HR strategy; translating strategy into action. In addition, you have the innate ability to engage, inspire and influence both leaders and individual contributors.

Your strong interpersonal, communication, change management and business partnership skills will shine in this role as you are constantly engaging with your business customers and working within a highly matrixed working environment. The significant knowledge of HR practices to drive organization capability and effectiveness will come into play daily including performance management, talent management, engagement, strategic workforce planning, organization design, change management, employee experience and more!

What You Will Do:
  • Contribute to the business strategy by partnering with business leaders to identify, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes
  • Lead strategies to forecast and plan talent pipeline requirements in line with the business strategy
  • Design and deploy long-term people strategies aligned with the strategic agenda
  • Enable business leaders to provide employees with development opportunities and ensure that they are able to meet current and future performance standards
  • Develop and promote feedback mechanisms for employees to influence Allegion's culture and to facilitate continuous improvement
  • Provide expert advice and coaching to leaders
  • Collaborate with leaders and HR colleagues to ensure that HR solutions are aligned with internal client needs
  • Maintain thought leadership on external HR practices, technologies, workforce trends
  • Develop a strong leadership and coaching culture within the organization
  • Manage specific projects as determined in the annual HR operational plan and participate in functional and cross-functional initiatives
  • Use data and problem-solving methodologies for continuous improvement


What You Need to Succeed:
  • 4-year college degree required in human resources or related field
  • 7 to 10 years of experience in Human Resources required
  • Knowledge of and experience in both corporate and manufacturing environments preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to analyze data, understand trends, develop recommendations for action to address strategic gaps
  • Exceptional at influencing through strong relationships, expertise and data and ability to manage a complex set of stakeholders
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, including Global leaders and client groups
  • Situational leadership and comfort with ambiguity
  • Experience working in a matrix organization structure
  • Effectively manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change
  • Fluent using current and emerging HR and collaboration technologies, such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Workday, etc.
  • Provide expertise in the following areas: organization design, capability development, performance management, coaching, compensation, employee engagement, learning and growth, culture, change management, and strategic talent management
