Our company mission is to help Medicare beneficiaries select the right Medicare plan for their needs. We are dedicated to the goal of making Medicare selection easy through our brand easyMedicare. We're entering the year with a strong base of hundreds of U.S.-based licensed insurance sales agents.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team focused on benefits, leave management (FML, ADA etc.) compensation, HRIS, and other systems in HR
- Create, and maintain pay grades in alignment with for e-TeleWork's pay philosophy
- Manage various human resources systems (HRIS, Performance Management etc.) and document procedures for those systems
- Analyze data on turnover and other metrics that impact employee engagement. Make recommendations on actions to take based on data
- Manage and monitor employee eligibility for benefits plans, review benefits plan and make recommendations
- Organize and manage annual open enrollment for e-TeleWork employees
- Partner with e-TeleWork Operations Management to communicate various human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards and other government regulations
- Manage resources for leaves of absence (FML & ADA) with external vendor and corporate office; ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements
- Manage workers' compensation claims processing and reporting for e-TeleWork
- Manage resources for coordinating all unemployment notices for e-TeleWork employees and potential charges in a timely, efficient manner.
- Maintain and audit employee files/record in HRIS system and ensure compliance with company policies
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment for each employee location, and benefits laws and regulations
- Provide regular reports, as requested
- Provide recommendations to the VP of HR regarding new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements for greater efficiency
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of business or HR analytics experience
- Able to work all time zone hours
- Call Center experience strongly preferred; experience with a large population of non-exempt employees required
- Remote HR experience preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize work
Working Conditions:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and see and must be able to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state and local Standards
- Leaders must be willing to travel, work all shifts, overtime, holidays and emergency shifts, as required
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 10 lbs.
