Responsibilities include:
  • Responsible for providing support and guidance to managers around performance management and risk assessments
  • Monitor, and address firmwide policies on employee behavior
  • Provide onsite overall HR guidance to a growing Miami office
  • Coordinate with managers to develop performance improvement plans, work closely with manager and employee to provide support, direction, and clear communication throughout the process
  • Partner with ER team, business managers, HRBP's to provide resolutions for escalated or complex issues and concerns
  • Build relationship with the firm's Employee Assistance Program
  • Conduct and deliver employee relations training for managers when necessary
  • Partner with the Benefits Team to navigate personal employee issues and sensitive accommodation requests
  • Partner and coordinate with internal and external counsel
  • Communicate and ensure understanding by managers and employees of relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies and answer non-standard questions by managers and employees as needed


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of applicable HR related experience with a focus on Employee Relations
  • Knowledge of employment laws
  • Ability to resolve conflicts and diffuse employee related issues, concerns, situations
  • Ability to quickly evaluate options and alternatives to decide on a plan of action
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written
  • Team player
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
