You have an eye for detail and enjoy editing and catching errors. You search for the answer and the question, you are curious and enjoy creating order and automating wherever possible.
This is a hybrid role and you may be needed to work in our Colombo, Sri Lanka office up to three (3) days a week. Remote workers will also be considered. Majority of the People team is located in the PST time zone.
What You Will Do
- Talent Acquisition support with interview coordination to contribute to a positive candidate experience
- Ensure accurate recruitment activity in applicant tracking system (JazzHR)
- Assist in collecting documented interview feedback
- Generate candidate employment agreements and coordinate new hire onboarding efficiently and quickly including new hire paperwork and new hire orientationsÂ
- Accurate data entry and reporting utilizing People systems such as Bob, JazzHR, and Excel spreadsheetsÂ
- Continuous process improvement & automation for internal processes and flows
- Employment verificationsÂ
- Address and resolve employee and stakeholder inquiries, as appropriate
- People team-related projects in areas of talent acquisition, compliance, operations, benefits and employee experienceÂ
- Process employee terminations to ensure smooth execution of offboarding proceduresÂ
- Communicate professionally and maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times with candidates and internal stakeholders
What We Are Looking For
- Proven data entry and organizational skills, strong attention to detailÂ
- Ability to problem solve, pivot quickly and handle multiple tasks
- Self-starter, manages ambiguity and takes ownership while working in a fast-paced work environment
- Strength interfacing and partnering effectively with all levels of the organization and external candidates
- Works independently as well as in a team environmentÂ
- Solid technical skills with HRIS , ATS, Gsuite, and Microsoft Suite
- Strong experience with Google Suite, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Trustworthy and able to manage confidential, sensitive employment information
- Enjoys wearing multiple hats in a startup environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid English language skills
- One to two years relevant experience
