Job Description
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for providing support in the full life cycle recruitment of various disciplines within the organization. Reporting to the Global Talent Acquisition Leader, the Human Resources Generalist will help to create a best-in-class candidate experience by refining the hiring processes and developing a compelling employment brand and recruitment strategy that attracts the best talent to WireCo in the most efficient ways. In addition, the HR Generalist will implement and administer human resources programs and policies and provide additional support to the HR team as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide support in the full life cycle recruitment (job requisition and job description review, background screening and onboarding process).
- Regularly review the Applicant Tracking System and submit resumes for further consideration based on qualifications, job requirements and screening questions.
- Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Serve as a point of contact for candidates, hiring managers, and HR peers during the TA process.
- Identify, attract and source potential candidates through online channels (LinkedIn, social media, networking).
- Develop new and enhance existing relationships with targeted universities and organizations in support of establishing a qualified diverse pipeline of talent.
- Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events as needed.
- Research HR talent acquisition best practices, methods, and processes; proactively recommend process improvement policies to standardize, rationalize and simplify recruiting processes.
- Assist HR Business Partners to support client activities and ensure constant alignment with the HR team concerning organizational changes, key open roles, critical talent, and other important employee life cycle events.
- Manage and resolve employee relations issues; conducting thorough and objective investigations.
- Serve as a point of contact on HR related matters, including but not limited to the administration of HR policies, benefits, processes, payroll, guidelines, and resources.
- Assist employees with questions related to healthcare, 401(k), life insurance beneficiary forms and personal and medical-related leaves, escalating as appropriate.
- Prepare and maintain reports related to the Applicant Tracking Systems, HRIS System. And Affirmative Action.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
- Submit job changes, separations, hires and organization changes while maintaining documentation for audit purposes.
- Assist with other HR related projects as assigned.
- Assist with the global employee service awards program.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or minimum 5 years relevant HR experience
- Two years of managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process
- Proficiency in Applicant Tracking and HRIS systems, and Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Ability to work independently, proactively and professionally with a high level of responsibility with minimal supervision and guidance.
- Ability to work in an office setting; extended times of sitting and computer work
- Ability to motivate, speak, train and interact at different levels of the organization
- Ability to build and establish strong working relationships with employees and leaders at all levels
Preferred Qualifications
- Five years of managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an HR Generalist
- Experience recruiting and onboarding employees in a manufacturing/production environment
- Working knowledge of HRIS systems and business information (payroll/timekeeping) systems; ADP preferred systems experience

- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
- An applicant must complete a satisfactory background check post-offer of employment. A criminal conviction will not be an automatic bar to employment.
- Must be willing and able to pass a post-offer drug screen and physical (if required)
