How you will make an impact:
- Work closely with both internal and external stakeholders. Detail-oriented, a self-starter that enjoys wearing many hats, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain employee data and process change requests in HRIS system ensuring accuracy and compliance of employee data and files
- Coordinate New Hire Experience (e.g. welcome emails, HR Orientations, I-9s, benefit enrollment, onboarding, etc.)
- Execute tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs
- Documents process flows
- Operate with a mindset of continuous improvement, contributing to the evolution of our processes and procedures in a hybrid work environment
- Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale
- Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff
- General administration and various HR tasks
- Support special projects and other ad-hoc initiatives across the People team as needed
What you need to succeed:
- 3+ years of comparable past performance in a fast-paced organization in an HR capacity, preferably in a start-up environment.
- Attention to detail a must
- You are a proactive self-starter who navigates ambiguity effortlessly
- You have a strong sense of urgency and are able to execute quickly and efficiently while managing competing priorities
- You have a “can do, roll-your-sleeves-up attitude”
- You're excited to get broad exposure to various People functions, and to contribute to the ongoing improvement and evolution of our systems
- Immigration experience a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS system (BambooHR
- experience preferred)
