Human Resources Generalist

The Human Resources Generalist will assist with all human resources functions including but not limited to: benefits, employee reviews, vendor billing, hiring processes, employee files and employee relations.

What You'll Do:

• Coordinate and maintain insurance benefits for the firm, including open enrollment vendor relations
• Assist in administering annual review process
• Maintain employee files, both hard copies and electronically
• Coordinate the hiring process: background checks, paperwork, orientation, benefit enrollment, etc.
• Lead annual anti-harassment training
• Assist with vendor billing
• Assist in employee relations
• Coordinate office wellness
• Additional tasks as required

What We're Looking For:

• A bachelor’s degree in human resources, organizational behavior or a related field
• Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
• Benefit and Payroll software experience is a plus
• Attention to detail and task follow through is a must
• Self-motivated and results-orientated
• Demonstrated experience in a human resources or related position
• Desire to excel, take on new responsibilities and bring innovative ideas to the position
• Desire to implement new ideas with minimal oversight
• Excellent oral, written and communication skills
• Ability to work in our Chicago Loop office 5 days a week
