Human Resources Generalist

Otter.ai is looking for a dynamic Human Resources Generalist to support day to day operations and collaborate on a variety of programs across the People portfolio. Reporting to the VP, People, this key team member will play an important in enabling the team as the company continues to grow and scale.  There is tremendous opportunity for impact working across the company on initiatives including but not limited to people operations, systems, employee experience, learning and development and more.

• Operate with a customer first mentality and deliver amazing stakeholder experiences
• Assist in the development and implementation of HR programs and policies
• Provide day to day support for a variety of operational tasks 
• Work in partnership with our PEO to administer payroll process(es), compensation and benefit plans
• Manage the LOA process
• Assist in talent acquisition and pre-boarding processes 
• Manage the background screening program
• Conduct employee onboarding and off boarding
• Maintain employee files
• Ensure compliance with labor regulations

• 5+ years combined Human Resources, Business Partnership, People Operations and/or Talent  experience in a high growth company 
• Expert level proficiency with labor regulations
• Impeccable attention to detail
• Proven track record scaling a high growth, fast paced environment
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross functionally
• Experience developing progressive processes and  programs to drive positive employee engagement, productivity and retention
• Understanding of and experience with designing and building a high  performing organization 
• Proven track record operating with a bias for action to deliver results

Salary range

Salary Range: $125,000 to $150,000 USD per year.
