ABOUT THE POSITION
The HR Generalist is an integral team member who embodies HR excellence through an outstanding mix of knowledge, skills, and individual leadership attributes. The HR Generalist combines positivity, a strong, diverse background and an eagerness to expand and deepen their HR knowledge and business acumen to grow in their career. This role is engaged in a wide range of projects and tasks that drive both immediate and longer-term outcomes.

  • Build meaningful relationships with employees at all levels of the organization to establish trust and confidence.
  • Support full life-cycle recruitment that ranges from upfront collaboration with hiring managers through a thorough and engaging interview process with qualified candidates.
  • Manage the onboarding process. Communicate with pre-hires the background check process, completing new hire paperwork and orientation schedule.
  • Work with managers to develop new hire training plans, and pre-hire and day 1 activities.
  • Conduct exit interviews with departing employees to gain meaningful, actionable insight as to their reason(s) for leaving the organization.
  • Prepare and maintain the performance evaluation process, including system readiness, process planning, communications, and deadline management. Coordinate the execution of the 90 day reviews for new hires. Advise and train employees as needed.
  • Serve as the go-to person for benefits questions related to policies and administrative requirements. Support preparation for annual renewal process with TPAs and make recommendations for benefit improvements.
  • Investigate and resolve employee relations issues.
  • Proactively identify and champion continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Organize, implement and support projects of various complexity and scope to strengthen the Company and improve HR’s effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Oversee the FMLA/Leave of Absence process.
  • Other duties as required.


WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
 

  • Must possess exceptional integrity, work ethic, judgment, and confidentiality at all times.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or a combination of education and experience.
  • HRCI or SHRM Certification preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of demonstrated success as an HR Generalist and Recruiter.
  • Experience managing an HRIS system, preferably Paycom.
  • Consistently exhibits positivity, professionalism, and a can-do attitude.
  • Embraces nimbleness and versatility to thrive in a multi-cultural, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication, including presentations and conflict management and resolution.
  • Highly competent and comfortable collaborating and building relationships with employees at all organization levels.
  • Strong interviewing and coaching skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Adept at Microsoft Office, including Excel, Work and PowerPoint.
