Human Resources (HR) Manager
Job Description
The Human Resource Manager is responsible for following, implementing, and overseeing all aspects of the human resources function, including recruitment, employment, and employee relations. Below are some of the responsibilities and duties of the position.
- Enhances the human resources function by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.
- Lives and breathes Core Values and Mission of the company and creates a culture of performance excellence throughout the organization.
- Supports and trains managers on best practices to recruit, retain and coach A-players.
- Monitors human resource trends in the technology space. Identifies gaps and works with leadership team to mitigate risk and build the best team in the industry.
- Coordinates team events and programs and encourages a fun and team winning environment.
- Counsels employees and managers and creates orientation and training programs to setup employees for success
- Manages employee benefits (medical, dental, 401K, education reimbursement, etc.) and recognition plans.
- Ensures compliance with applicable human resource federal, state, and local requirements, conducting investigations and maintaining accurate records.
- Updates job requirements and descriptions for all positions and establishes career planning.
- Tracks eNPS. Highlights companywide wins and provides insight to leadership team.
- Maintains inviting office environment and encourages collaboration and interaction between departments.
Requirements
- Ability to prioritize and organize multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to develop strong working relationships across the organization
- Strong project management and analytical skills. Attention to detail is critical.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to translate ideas and thoughts into company presentations.
- Strong MS Office skills, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, a related field, or equivalent experience
Work Experience
- 3+ Years of Human Resource Generalist Experience required
- Experience in SaaS or technology company, a plus
