The role:
We are looking for a People Intern to join our international team for a period of 5/6 months, starting August/September 2024. As an intern you will support our Europe & AMEAP People (HR) Department with a variety of administrative tasks such as reporting, data accuracy and building communication materials for the organization. Furthermore, you will get the opportunity to support the coordination and improvement of European HR processes along with the People team.
During this internship:
- You will provide HR Administration Support for the European Head Office & AMEAP region;
- Assist with the implementation of our onboarding process;
- Respond to HR data requests on an ad hoc basis by gathering, analyzing, and reporting relevant data from various sources;
- Support recruitment (manage applications, job ads, LinkedIn profile, arrange and conduct interviews);
- Assist in the management of employee benefits and compensation programs;
- Create offer letters, contracts and process new hire and leaver paperwork;
- Support in updating HR Policies & Processes, and creating new ones;
- Contribute to the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives;
- Manage internal communications on new hires, organizational changes or other relevant internal business updates;
- Provide other administrative support on an ad hoc basis to ensure smooth and efficient HR operations
In an ideal world:
- You are full-time available for 5-6 months, 32-40 hrs. per week, starting August/September 2024;
- You are a bachelor or master's student in HR, HRM, Psychology or similar studies, preferably in the 3rd year of a bachelor studies (Note: You have to be enrolled in school during the whole internship period);
- You are particularly interested in HR (and you are curious and always eager to learn);
- You have proficient knowledge of Microsoft 365 (especially Excel);
- You have strong communication skills;
- You are fluent in English, both in writing & verbally;
- You are structured and organized in controlling your daily tasks;
- You have a positive and proactive attitude;
- You are a team player, with a good sense of humor;
- You live within a commuting distance from our office in Amstelveen. This is due to our hybrid working conditions;
- And of course; you are a lover of baking!
