We are currently seeking our newest innovator to join our dynamic team as an Intern on the Human Resources Team!

LG's 2023 Summer Internship Program will be a 9 week internship from June 5 through August 4, 2023.
The internship will be based in office at the LG North America Innovation Campus in Englewood Cliffs, NJ and pay an hourly rate of $23.50.
The LG Internship Program is built on the philosophy of ensuring that each intern is given the opportunity to perform robust and meaningful work while gaining real-world experience.
The program will also include each intern working on an individual strategic project for the department and delivering a presentation at the program's end.
Responsibilities
- This internship will be designed to provide on-the-job training and experience to college students aspiring for a career in Human Resources. This role will do a job rotation in with each functional area of HR during the intern assignment: Talent Acquistion, Learning & Development, Total Rewards and HR Business Partner.
As an intern in the HR department, you will engage in various HR work assignments, projects, and activities of minimal complexity and will be exposed to different businesses and employee resource groups. You will be responsible to perform research around HR trends, collect and report people data and help shape company culture. You will work closely with different HR functional areas to learn more about the company and how HR plays a role in people development and culture.
You will have daily interactation with HR professionals and will receives guidance and mentoring from HR leaders in planning and carrying out activities and assignments.
You will be assigned the responsibility of developing a multi-year Strategic HR Project Planning calendar. This HR project planning calendar with serve as a schedule that simultaneously achieves the departments strategic goals while balancing the workforce demands.
You will assit in the planning of one event for either an employee resource group, new hire summit or early talent development workforce.
Qualifications
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program at an accredited College/University
- Rising Junior or Senior in Bachelor's degree program
- Business/Marketing/HR related major is preferred
- Exposure to HRIS systems is desirable
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams)
- Analytical and well organized
- Data analysis & project management experience required
- Organzied and have stong discretion as this role may be exposed to matters and data where maintaining the highest level of confidentiality is important.
