The HR manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and evaluating the various policies, and programs of Patron Technology’s HR department. This ranges from evaluating recruiting, interviewing, and hiring processes, to overseeing employee benefit programs, and overseeing the office operations of our new offices. In addition, our HR managers keep a pulse on employee relations, ensure practices are compliant with regulations, and coordinate the administering onboarding, benefits, and training.

AS A HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER, YOU WILL:
Recruiting/Talent
- Oversees HR/Recruiting Coordinator, talent acquisition and recruiting process
- Oversees HR Onboarding for Full-time employees
Employee Relations
- Executes employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, investigations, and brings them to resolution
- Conducts employee exit interviews and reports results to leadership and suggestions on improvement based off of trends
- Provide HR support and guidance to managers about employee relation issues
Employee Engagement
- Implement initiative to standardize job roles, salary bands, core competencies, and career paths for roles within the company.Â
- Collaborate with the HR team to design and deploy employee engagement surveys. Work with the leadership team on result analysis and actionable recommendations.Â
- Conduct new hire check in’s according to scheduleÂ
- Active leader of the Company’s culture committeeÂ
- Work with the HR team on improving employee experience through ad hoc projects and tasks
Training
- Select and implement training programs that meet compliance standardsÂ
- Collaborate with HR team to plan and implement other training programs (management training, DE&I, EPM)
HR Policy
- Ensure that policies are in place (and updated when necessary) to ensure safe working environmentÂ
- Write or edit ad hoc company policiesÂ
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop policies
Performance ManagementÂ
- Administers quarterly reviews and annual reviews
- Collaborates with the VP, Talent to implement department OKRs
- Reviews EPM process as neededÂ
Payroll
- Oversees Payroll Specialist; approves U.S. payroll each pay period
- Collaborates with Payroll Specialist on best practices and HRIS management
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance
Benefits Administration
- Oversees Benefits Specialists for both US & International
- Evaluates and negotiates with benefits broker for benefit plans each year
- Reviews Insurance billing to maintain accuracyÂ
- Coordinate leaves of absence and process claims or requests (medical leave, worker’s compensation, etc.)
- Conducts open enrollment meetings each year
- Coordinates with payroll to ensure employer and employee contributions are processed in a timely manner
Office Administration
- Oversees Office Administrator in Dallas and Pittsburgh
- Collaborates with Office teams to ensure that budget is being utilized and managed correctly

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree required;
- 5+ years of HR experience required;
- Current or previous experience as HR Manager or Senior HR Generalist preferred;
- 1-2 years of managing a team;
- Experience in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities; and
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
