Pixelligent is seeking an individual that will plan, lead and direct the functions of the Human Resources Department. This position will maintain an effective level of business literacy about the business's strategies, its midrange plans, its culture and its competition.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Advise management in implementing processes and programs to improve employee experience.
  2. Consult with all levels of management to provide HR guidance as needed.
  3. Manage and resolve employee relation issues; conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations.
  4. Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to management team (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions.)
  5. Create, implement and monitor adherence to all company policies, procedures and practices.
  6. Manage employee benefit plans, to include health, life, disability, 401(k), etc.
  7. Coordinate and manage annual open enrollment meetings to support both local and remote staff.
  8. Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
  9. Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organizations human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
  10. Manages the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  11. Creates learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
  12. Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations and investigations.
  13. Conduct regular audits on compliance related requirements such as I-9 forms, EEO data, employee handbook acknowledgement, etc.
  14. Update and maintain employee personnel files.
  15. Manage the development and interpretation of personnel policies and procedures.
  16. Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management and employment law.
  17. Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in human resources, business or related field with five (5) years of relevant experience; or Associate's degree with eight (8) years of relevant experience. PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.

 

Compensation includes base salary, performance-based annual bonuses, and equity. Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, and retirement programs. Paid leave includes paid time off and holiday pay.
