Job Summary:
As a human resources manager, you play a key role in accelerating organizational success by leading and performing HR-related duties on a professional level. Your responsibilities are primarily in functional areas of HR program management, recruitment, employee engagement & support, employee onboarding and offboarding, benefits administration, employment law compliance, human resources software administration & general HR support. The human resources manager partners with other functional areas of the company, and develops and recommends human resources practices and procedures that develop, contribute and support the mission, vision, values, strategic goals and objectives of Twin Valley Family of Companies (TVFC).

You successfully fulfill the following essential duties and responsibilities:
You will utilize your ADMINISTRATIVE SKILLS to efficiently:
- Administer company benefit programs including coordinating benefit enrollment and record-keeping and communicate with service providers for routine and COBRA administration.
- Administer the HRIS and other HR-related systems, including performance management software.
- Maintain employee digital personnel records.
- Process onboarding and offboarding tasks for new and separating employees.
- Assist the department in a variety of ways as needed.
You will use your PEOPLE SKILLS to inspire and motivate others by:
- Leading or supporting HR initiatives and activities for employee and manager training.
- Educating newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures, services and benefits.
- Consulting & coaching managers to drive performance.
- Serve as a contact for employees and answer questions regarding HR policies and procedures.
You will use your COLLABORATIVE SKILLS to:
- Partner with management teams in the creation and facilitation of the delivery of HR services.
- Participate in developing organizational guidelines and procedures.
- Create & manage company onboarding programs.
- Lead employee engagement programs.
- Support company-sponsored events as the need arises.
- Support the company by completing other duties as assigned.
You will use your STRATEGIC SKILLS to:
- Translate business needs into actionable people-focused programs.
- Coach leaders and employees to maximize employee engagement and drive clarity in roles and responsibilities.
- Respond to escaladed HR or personnel issues.
- Implement key HR strategies within the HR organization.
- Ensure our brand is appropriately represented in key areas to attract and retain talent.
You will use your HR TECHNICAL SKILLS to:
- Provide guidance on human resources operational issues and employment law.
- Champion and administer compensation and benefit programs for the organization.
- Carry out special projects or requests utilizing your solid grasp of the human resource body of knowledge.
- Assist in recruitment process by coordinating job postings, reviewing resumes and completing initial interviews.
- Complete compliance reporting including EEOC, OSHA, etc.
- Ensure TVFC compliance with federal, state, and local employment law related to the HR duties you perform.
- Administer Workers' Compensation claims, coordinating with insurance provider to submit accident reports and comply with OSHA and state reporting requirements.
- Create development programs to accelerate employee growth.
- Create and maintain job descriptions.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert for HR software.
You will use your CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS to:
- Interpret benefit coverage and answer employee inquiries about benefits and other HR-related duties.
- Explain and train on various company policies and procedures.
- Foster a positive, professional experience for customers of the HR department as you carry out all your duties.

You will meet the following educational, licensing, certification, and work experience requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or relevant area; a combination of education and relevant work experience will be considered.
- Broad knowledge of the human resources field with demonstrated leadership skills generally gained through 7-10 years of human resources experience; 1-3 years human resources management experience.
- Strong experience in database management; experience in HR-related software highly preferred.
- Superb computer literacy with business software, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email, etc.
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP OR SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
