Human Resources Manager
Job Description
Wood Rodgers has a HR Manager position open for someone that is passionate about (or at least really likes) planning, directing, coordinating, and implementing HR management activities. Of course, you will also maximize the strategic use of human resources in the functional areas of employee relations, onboarding, compensation, recruitment, policies and procedures, benefits, safety, and regulatory compliance. The HR manager reports to the HR Director.
To succeed in this role, you need the ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment with strong attention to detail; excellent prioritization and time management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously; the ability to follow through on assigned tasks with limited supervision; a strong spirit of teamwork with an outstanding collaborative approach.  What youâll be doing
- Monitor all Leave of Absences for accuracy and timeliness of documentation.
- Assist with Workersâ Compensation reporting, management and follow up.
- Maintain personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements.
- Keep employee records up-to-date by processing employee status changes in a timely fashion
- Process personnel action forms and ensures proper approvals; disseminates approved forms.
- Prepare paperwork required to place employees on payroll and establishes personnel file
- Manage all employee benefit programs
- Maintain file of I-9 Forms and EEOC disclosures
- Other duties and responsibilities required for the position
The ante
- A minimum of 7 yearsâ experience handling essential HR functions
- Bachelorâs degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, or related field
- Thorough knowledge of HR functional areas and understanding of legal and regulatory requirements
- Ability to travel throughout the state of California and Nevada; overnight travel required occasionally

It is our expectation that the salary will be somewhere in the middle of this range.
This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential and can fluctuate above or below the posted range. If there is an offer, the salary presented will consider several factors including, but not limited to, a candidateâs experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, and training. Base pay is just one piece of the compensation package offered by Wood Rodgers.
