As the Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for managing a wide range of responsibilities, including employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and compliance with labor laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR, excellent interpersonal skills, a passion for creating a positive and inclusive work environment that fosters employee growth and development.

What you do:

  • Oversee daily tasks and ensure smooth and comprehensive HR Operations.
  • Oversee weekly payroll functions and collaborate with Accounting team on commissions. 
  • Record, process and update employee information; leading employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Develop, revise, and recommend new policies, procedures while enhancing existing ones. 
  • Update and maintain our Employee Handbook
  • Provide analytics and reporting for essential HR metrics.
  • Collaborate with recruiting on talent acquisition initiatives and attracting qualified candidates for roles. 
  • Act as a consultant for managers and staff on policies, procedures, programs, and benefits addressing inquiries. 
  • Support staff in resolving HR issues, interpreting policies and procedures, and suggestive effective solutions. 
  • Serve as a liaison between managers and employees to address work-related concerns. 
  • Assist with employee relations, grievances, case management, and reporting. 
  • Conduct internal investigations when necessary.
  • Offer expert guidance on performance and conflict management, employment law, investigations and risk assessment for managers and employees.  
  • Handle disability accommodations and return-to-work issues for leaves of absence. 
  • Support and oversee performance review process across all departments, ensuring consistent documentation is collected.
  • Facilitate internal promotions, compensation analysis and salary adjustments.
  • Assess and identify ways to continually improve culture and engagement, leveraging engagement initiatives.  
  • Stay informed on trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law. 
  • Manage and administer employee benefits program, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives, ensuring effective communication, enrollment and compliance with applicable regulations while continually evaluating and recommending improvements to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.

  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with top-tier HRMSs.
  • Ability to plan, organize, develop, and implement programs, goals, objectives, and policies/procedures for excellent HR administration. 
  • Working knowledge of federal, state and local HR laws and regulations. 
  • Demonstrated empathy and experience in driving diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives. 

Your Knowledge & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree with emphasis on Human Resources, Business Administration or related field (preferred, but not required)
  • 4+ years experience as an HR Manager or Sr. HR Generalist
