Job Description

SRC, Inc. is seeking a self-starter to join our HR Staff, based in Syracuse, NY. You will have responsibility for collaborating with technical and support staff, as well as business leaders. If you're a motivated, experienced professional that enjoys wearing many hats and having a positive impact, you need to join our HR team.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with the HR team to identify, develop and implement initiatives, programs and processes to support business objectives.
  • Integrate best practices in talent acquisition, performance management, learning and development, compensation, and benefits that encourage employee retention and the best employee experience
  • Support business leaders with staff development, organizational effectiveness, and change management initiatives
  • Work closely with business leaders as an HR strategic partner and advisor
  • Coordinate talent management processes including goal setting, performance management, salary planning, and succession planning for each business unit
  • Support management and employees by providing training, coaching and feedback
  • Manage staff to include assigning work, monitoring progress, and providing feedback and coaching
  • Serve as project manager and subject matter expert for enterprise-wide HR initiatives for systems, processes and policies
  • Utilize HR tools to analyze and report on information to support decision making while making recommendations to improve organizational effectiveness

What You Bring to the Team

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources management or related discipline
  • 5 or more years' experience as an HR manager/HR business partner; 10 or more years of experience as an HR generalist supporting a business unit

  • Strong consulting skills, coaching skills and working in a team environment
  • Experience in project management and change management
  • Demonstrated experience in an HR business partner role.
  • In depth analytical skills, subject matter expertise, and desire to use HR tools for reporting and business decisions
  • Technical HR generalist knowledge including knowledge of employment laws (i.e., EEO, FMLA, FLSA and ADA)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, across a wide audience including presenting to large and small groups
  • Strong project management skills

Preferred Requirements

  • Three or more (3+) years of managing HR staff
  • Certification as a PHR/SHRM-CP or SPHR/SHRM-SCP
  • Experience with SuccessFactors and Dayforce
